Gelbvieh & Balancer cattle are known in the beef industry for their growth and maternal strengths. With attributes such as low birth weight but fill out faster.
Gelbvieh & Balancer cattle have documented EPDs (expected progeny differences). Balancer Cattle are 25-75% Gelbvieh with the balance of Angus or Red Angus. Balancer cattle combine the Gelbvieh growth, muscle, leanness, fertility, longevity and low yield grading ability with the carcass qualities of Angus.
